A place where the mountain becomes home

Takhta

Takhta is a new residential complex in Dilijan, designed by Green Rock in collaboration with MVRDV. Conceived as part of the growing Dilijan ecosystem — alongside the hotel, Art Park, Music Hall, and Cabinet Café — it is a place where nature, architecture, and everyday life meet on equal terms.

The complex takes its form from the landscape itself. Cascading terraces, organic curves, and a façade inspired by the layered rock formations of the Armenian mountains make Takhta something rare: a building that feels like it belongs exactly where it stands.

Project Purposes

Takhta is not just a residential development — it is a long-term investment in the quality of life in Dilijan. By adding a new layer of premium living to the town’s emerging ecosystem, it creates the conditions for talented people to put down roots here: to live, work, and build something lasting.
The complex brings together hotel apartments for short-term stays, residential units for permanent living, and a ground-floor programme of restaurants, retail, gym, pool, and community space — all woven into a single walkable environment. Every element is designed to activate the street, support local businesses, and contribute to Dilijan’s transformation into a place people choose, not just visit.
