“Green Cab” eco taxi service
In 2022, our country’s total annual emissions reached 6.41 million tons, representing just 0.02% of the global CO2 emissions. Among the factors contributing to air pollution in the cities of Armenian are vehicle emissions. Improvement of the public transportation can help decrease air pollution and elevate the quality of life.
Adhering to the principles of sustainable development and to help partially address this issue, “Green Rock” has donated brand new 2023 Toyota Corolla Hybrid vehicles to the city of Dilijan (hybrid vehicles operate on two forms of energy: electric and thermal. At speeds below 50 km/h, the system turns off the combustion engine of the vehicle and activates the electric motor, which reduces CO2 emissions).
The launch of “Green Cab” environmentally friendly vehicles in Dilijan is intended to enhance the transportation for both local residents and visitors, improving travel within the city and to other destinations.
Davit Sargsyan, the head of the Dilijan community, was present at the “Green Cab” launch ceremony at the Dilijan office of “Green Rock.”
