”Green Rock ” has launched the “Green Cab” taxi service in Dilijan

In 2022, our nation’s total emissions reached 6.41 million tons, making up merely 0.02% of the global CO2 emissions. Among other factors, vehicle emissions are a major source of air pollution in cities across Armenia. The improvement of public transport can decrease the air pollution and enhance the overall quality of life.

Committed to the sustainable development principles and aiming to partially mitigate this issue, “Green Rock ” has presented brand new 2023 Toyota Corolla Hybrid cars to the city of Dilijan (Hybrid vehicles operate using both electric and thermal energy. When traveling at speeds below 50 km/h, the system turns off the car’s combustion engine to activate the electric motor, resulting in the reduction of CO2 emissions).

The introduction of “Green Cab” eco-friendly vehicles in Dilijan is aimed towards enhancing transportation for local residents and city visitors, facilitating travel within the city and to other destinations.

(Davit Sargsyan, the head of Dilijan community, was present at the opening ceremony of “Green Cab” at the Dilijan office of “Green Rock).
